TAG’s work with librarians nominated for two American Bar Association Awards
We are delighted to announce that our work with librarians has been nominated for two access to justice awards from the American Bar Association. These nominations reflect the collective efforts of TAG, Community Legal Education Ontario, Community Advocacy & Legal Centre and the Rural and Remote Access to Justice Boldness Project. We would like to thank and recognize the local librarians for their continued leadership and support in the efforts that led to these nominations:
- The Louis M. Brown Award for Legal Access is presented to programs and projects that advance legal access for those of moderate incomes in ways that are exemplary and replicable.
- The Brown Select award presented to the Brown Award nominee that gets the most votes from the general public through online voting. Vote now before polls close on January 10, 2017. Our nomination is 11th from the bottom of the list.
