This cluster will facilitate information sharing and collaboration among PLEI organizations and like-minded community organizations in order to enhance impact and reduce duplication of resources. Emphasis will be placed on improving access to justice for low-income and disadvantaged communities. Cluster activities will be informed by CLEO’s Mapping Public Legal Education and Information in Ontario report which will be released in early 2016.

On October 20-21, 2016 over 190 access to justice advocates from across Canada participated in a two-day conference to advance knowledge, skills and awareness about promising practices in public legal education and current issues in the push for access to justice in Ontario. This event was organized by TAG and LawConnect Ontario.

CLEO has released a new report about the availability of legal information for people in Ontario. The report identifies almost 1,700 legal information resources on a range of topics produced by over 180 organizations.
